Classes will meet live on Zoom. Classes are video recorded and sent to all enrolled.

You're invited to the Tangled Garland Zentangle Inspired Art summer class series with Nancy Domnauer, Certified Zentangle Teacher.
We'll create a decorative garland showcasing your beautifully tangled tiles in this series of classes that meet in June, July and August.
If you join the series part-way through the classes, the video recording from the previous classes will be sent to you.
Each class will have a theme and at the end of the series, you'll select your favorite tiles to display on a decorative burlap garland. The supply list, welcome note and Zoom link will be shared upon registration.
This is a 3-part class series.

Classes meet online via Zoom on Saturday, June 7 and Friday, July 11 and Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm, PDT.

In the June class, we’ll do MapTangling ~ a captivating Zentangle inspired art technique with incredibly appealing results.
We’ll begin with the special technique of applying watercolors to Zentangle tiles - a Zendala, a Bijou tile and a square tile - to get them ready for the MapTangling technique.
We’ll tangle beautiful tangle patterns on our tiles as we complete 3 tiles in class. Throughout the class I will share hints for MapTangling and share many examples. After class, you’ll have extra tiles to tangle on your own.
If you're a returning student, we will be tangling new patterns in this class.If you’re new to MapTangling, please join me online at 9:45 am, PDT to begin practicing the technique.
Whether you’re a new or returning MapTangling student, you may join the class early.
Upon registration, you will receive a welcome note, the Zoom link and a detailed supply list of things to bring to the classes.
You will also receive information on my favorite watercolor pan sets for MapTangling. (You're free to use your own pan watercolors as long as they allow tangling with pen once the paint is dry.)
Supply List for June 7 Class: 3 white square Zentangle tiles; 3 white Bijou tiles; 3 white Zendala tiles; Micron 01 or PN black ink pen; medium nib waterbrush; set of pan watercolors (my suggested brand will be sent in your welcome note); and a few simple supplies that will be sent in your welcome note.
You’re welcome to bring your own pan watercolors as long as they allow tangling over them once the watercolor is dried.

Supply List for July 11 and August 9 Classes: 8 white square Zentangle tiles (some for the July class and some for August class); 4 white Zendala tiles (some for July and some for August); 1 tan Zendala tile; Micron 01 or PN black ink pen; gold Gelly Roll pen; graphite pencil and tortillon; white chalk pencil and tortillon; set of pastel chalk pencils in a variety of colors and a few simple supplies that will be sent in your welcome note.
