You're invited to an Introduction to Zentangle class with Nancy Domnauer, Certified Zentangle Teacher on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, PST.
This is a hybrid class so you may attend online via Zoom or in-person at the Morgan Hill Community Center.
Zentangle is a simple to learn, relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
As a student in my Zentangle class, I will guide you through the easy-to-learn steps of the Zentangle Method. We’ll put pen to paper, slow down, focus and relax as we draw simple structured patterns to create beautiful Zentangle art. You’ll love the simple, mindful process and lovely results.
If you can draw a line, an orb and simple pen strokes, you can create Zentangle art.
Zentangle is a mindful art form that allows one to slow down, focus on the moment and create a lovely work of art. While drawing simple pen strokes and following the Zentangle Method, you'll enter a state of relaxed focus and calmness as you create a work of art on your paper Zentangle tile.
In class, you’ll receive a Zentangle brand keepsake supply kit. Your supply kit includes a Sakura Micron 01 black ink pen, Zentangle brand graphite pencil, tortillon, 5 Zentangle paper tiles, a special handout and a few surprises. You’ll use these supplies in class and have extras to take home.

I like to say that once you take a Zentangle class, then you have a hobby for life!
Throughout the class, I will share the history, philosophy, benefits and enjoyment of putting pen to paper and creating Zentangle art.
I will teach favorite tangle patterns and special insights that I’ve learned during my 12+ years as a Zentangle artist.
I have taught Zentangle class to hundreds of students in my in-person and online classes. I sincerely look forward to sharing my love of Zentangle with you.
You are about to embark on an exciting, creative journey and I look forward to welcoming you to the world of Zentangle.
Class Registration Fee: $59.00. This fee covers the 2-hour class instruction and supply kit.
Online Students: If you're attending the class online, the supply kit will be mailed to you as part of your registration fee. Please register soon to receive the kit before class. Upon registration you will receive the Zoom link and a welcome note with class details.
In-Person Class Attendees: You will receive supply kit when you arrive to class. You’ll enjoy the ambience of creating art within a group of people.

Notes:
Pre-registration is required to ensure space and supplies.
In-person students ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult attendee.
The Introduction to Zentangle class will not be video recorded. Please attend online or in-person.
During class you will also learn about an array of books, websites, online groups and resources for Zentangle artists. I will be available via email anytime to support you on your new adventure.
