Morgan Hill, California

~ Peaceful Tangles Retreat 2024 ~

We look forward to welcoming Zentangle artists to this 2-day tangling event taught by a team of 5 Certified Zentangle Teachers on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17 at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center in beautiful downtown Morgan Hill, California.

The retreat is open to Zentangle artists, CZTs and anyone with Zentangle experience.

Tangling in community, learning new techniques, playing with art supplies, gathering with Zentangle artists and making new friends is the essence of The Peaceful Tangles Retreat. The event program runs from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on both Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17.

To join the interest list for the retreat, please email: Nancy@LineDotCalm.com

The Certified Zentangle Teachers who will be teaching at the retreat are Mary Rose Feldman, Jeanne Hamilton, Sandy Kelley-Jones, Maria Pahos-Benson and Nancy Domnauer.   We’ve planned inspiring Zentangle lessons on an array of tiles using beautiful tangling techniques and tools.

You will enjoy 5 Zentangle art workshops, soothing meditations, lively group activities and surprises from your retreat teachers.

We’re grateful to be able to gather again and we look forward to seeing you!  Tangling in community, learning new techniques, playing with art supplies, gathering with Zentangle artists, and making new friends is the essence of The Peaceful Tangles Retreat.

The theme of this retreat is Celebrate!  We will be celebrating being back together as a group of Zentangle enthusiasts! We’re looking for good vibes and happy tanglers to participate in this event.

The Peaceful Tangles Retreat workshops include traditional tangling as well as Zentangle Inspired Art projects.

Zentangle artists will enjoy tangling on a variety of tiles using an array of tools and techniques while learning from Certified Zentangle Teachers. You will learn new techniques, approaches, and helpful hints to enhance your Zentangle practice.

Participants will receive a gift bag of tangling tools, tiles, supplies and surprises to be used during the retreat and to take home.

LUNCH RECESS:  You’re welcome to bring your own lunch on either or both days.  There is a professional kitchen on-site with refrigerators and we’re welcome to hold our lunches there.

On Tuesday, we’ll have a catered box lunch option, available for pre-purchase.

On Wednesday, a longer lunch recess will allow participants to dine at an array of delicious restaurants in downtown Morgan Hill.  Restaurants are a 5-minute walk from The Community Center. A list of favorite restaurants has been sent to all attendees.

TUESDAY EVENING DINNER DOWNTOWN:

On Tuesday evening April 16, retreat participants are invited to meet together for dinner at 6:00 pm at a downtown Morgan Hill restaurant.

COMMUNICATING WITH ATTENDEES:

We believe that clear communications with attendees supports a successful event.  With that in mind, we will be sending special retreat newsletters to attendees.

A private page for attendees of The Peaceful Tangles Retreat is on my website: www.linedotcalm.com.  You will receive the password to the private page when you register.
